Zest Bites
We rebranded and launched our employee restaurant to make it stand out! It needed to be easy for employees to order food on the go, from their mobiles and desktops, and a refreshing new menu to keep things lively.
At Zest we have a kitchen where the lovely Stewart Parker is our Head Chef who creates flavourful meals for us every day. We have recently decided to upgrade our kitchen and menu to enhance our employees’ experience, providing healthy, locally sourced breakfast and lunch. I created a new brand, menus, and internal EPOS system (Electronic point of sale) to reflect the culinary creativity.
The Brief
Our very own chef Stewart provides us with a range of dishes, with ingredients sourced from local suppliers and greengrocers – taste and quality are his top priority. Easy to order from your desk and delicious fresh food cooked to order.
Our Menu
Working with multiple members of different departments to create an EPOS system (Electronic Point of Sale) so that members of staff can order food from their desks. Giving our employees more choices and the ability to plan their days better by pre-ordering breakfast and lunch.
Collaborating with the Development team to envision my designs for the EPOS UI design whilst managing expectations and challenges. Spending time with Stewart to create our in-house menu and how we should make our staff feel when ordering. Creating social posts to drive hype and curiosity. Creating an internal brand (Zest Bites) that promotes the longevity of the kitchen as a pillar of the business. Created content for our careers site to promote our kitchen and attract new employees! https://careers.zestplan.com/pages/zestbites
The Project
“I’ve worked at Zest since 2022 and I fear I will never be allowed to leave.... EVER. You can mostly find me in the basement working, if it’s quiet I’m probably not there. I do make a lot of noise and you really can’t miss me.”
